PRINT MAP
MountainTrue produces a print map covering access points, campsites, outfitters, public lands, hazards, and neighboring attractions along the French Broad Paddle Trail. Additional maps, produced by other entities, exist and cover portions of the French Broad River, however, are not as detailed or are not Paddle Trail-focused. Spiral-bound and water/tear-resistant, it tucks neatly in your dry bag, or lays open atop the cooler. That said, it doesn't float, so keep it close in case you tump your boat!
The Riverkeeper's guide is also available for purchase at several local outfitters and retailers. We're working on publishing a list of businesses that sell the map, however, feel free to contact us in the meantime to find out where it can currently be acquired. * UPDATE - June 2024:
We are currently sold out of the print map for online sales, but the following local retailers may have some in stock - French Broad Outfitters and Second Gear in Asheville, REI in Arden, The Hub in Pisgah Forest, DD Bullwinkel's in Brevard, and Headwaters Outfitters in Rosman.
We are currently working on a new version of the print map which should be ready for distribution sometime in the fall or winter of 2024 and will then be widely-available into the future.
